There’s an article recently about one being built in northeast Oklahoma.

It’d be pretty funny if Houma lost out to northeast Oklahoma.

If it makes you feel any better, it was never actually going to be built anyway.

Also just to save you future heartache, if someone else says they're build something like this anywhere in Louisiana, it's never, ever, EVER going to actually happen.

Contractors truck was probably stolen on the way and they abandoned the idea.

First they have to finish the water park on I-10 at Lacassine. I hear they’re hiring lifeguards now.

I mean the Tulsa area is better than Houma in almost every conceivable way.

Plus that’ll likely end up like Wild West world/joyland in Wichita ended up with the quickness still.

The developers brought the investors in and almost immediately the haircuts among the male population were a point of controversy.
The investors withdrew all support for the project.

The organizer of this project is broke carnival ride operator. I can’t believe anyone took him seriously.

This project had a poor master plan with underwhelming IP. There was also no confidence in the developer to deliver.
