He's either going to show up, talk and plead and beg, and get dragged around for another few months, or he'll cancel. If he cancels and says he's just decided to move on, then chances are it will stick. If he cancels, says it's personal, and leaves her in the cold for a few days/weeks, he'll probably get her back with ease once he surfaces again, but that isn't exactly a solid foundation for a long term relationship.
The OP and this woman won't end up together in the long run, the only unknown is how vindictive/manipulative either side will be. For the OP's sake, I hope he cancel and controls things going forward.

When you are sitting there at the meeting place all alone, don't be calling, texting, etc. asking where she is. I would give her 10 minutes max past the due time to get there, then I would get up and leave. Otherwise you show her that you are as desperate as you sound. Then you will become nothing more than "a dick in a glass jar" for her.

Any girl you have to play these games with past HS or age 20 at the latest, is usually not a keeper. They typically have major issues are are huge sluts until they lose their looks and then they go after a "good guy" when they have been rode hard and out up wet and are 40 years old, unwed or divorced mother of at least one, maybe two teenagers.
