Really depends on your financial situation and other needs. Also do you share decision making on purchases already? If so, then I believe it's fair to treat bonus money the same way.

my dad had the same argument with my stepmother about an expensive RV. Guess what he did...

he rolled up to the house 2 days later in a fricking brand new RV, honked the horn, and tossed the keys to my stepmom when she walked out like a boss.

they're still married btw

If she didn't get over that adorable pup right away, you need to lose that cold hearted broad.

Just got into an argument with her in her lunch. Now we're fighting and she stormed off and slammed the door. I was going to give her some money out of it to buy a handful of bras too (which she doesn't know that yet),but should I? I mean, that is a gift for me too

Step 1: tell her instead of your purchase, you would be content getting weekly BJ's for the next year

Step 2: enjoy your new snowmobile trailer

We do the same thing, except $100.

You just have to decide how much sex you're willing to give up (from her) for this trailer.

Do the math and make a judgment call.

She's not gonna divorce you, so what other real consequence is there?

my wife and I have an understanding that her bonus check is to do with what she wants and likewise for me. I bought an AR 15 with my bonus this year and I believe she bought a monogram machine with hers along with some other things. As much money as she spent on mongrams, I believe I will have broke even within about a year.

Is it a want or a need? Big difference.

Buy the bras yourself, but get them a size or two too big. When she says they don't fit, say, "I wish they did." Then compromise on breast implants down the road for your trailer now. Deny that agreement ever happened when she brings it up later and tell her that is an expense y'all cannot afford at this time.

Yeah she works and she keeps her bonuses (but they aren't big). And I'm paying for our trip with my check. So she's benefiting. I hardly ever spend the check on my self. Usually goes to the house

Then remind her of this.

What else is she saying the bonus should be spent on?

Give her a choice, you can spend half of the money on a new trailer, or all of the money on hookers and blow.

My ex wife I'd laugh in her face

The gf I have now I would be more receptive to her opinion
