Nothing less than the truth.

The daughter would "enjoy the pleasure" or raising the kid then. With little assistance from her mom or me.

Or encourage her to let someone adopt it.

I agree. Her future options have narrowed significantly if she raises the child. No decent guy wants to attach himself to someone else's kid and forget college and a career.

She'll be damaged goods and her psyche will reflect that.

You can definitely tell the difference in those posters who are still too immature to understand the real world.

Yeah, let's look into the real world and compare the average income between a woman who had a kid when she just hit puberty, and then look at women who wait to have kids in their 30s, and let's see who has the higher quality of life.

1) Disappear the father.
2) Emancipate the daughter.

No, but it is an answer.

I don't think it should be forced on the girl in this situation, and it sounds like it's not her answer, but it's not out of the realm of possibilities either.

There's therapy and counselors for raising kids at a young age too.

Well, you can't really claim you are all about your child's "well being" when the decision on the table may result in significant depression and counseling.

Save your "but I know people who are successful who had kids at an early age" speech

If you want, I can follow it up with the "but I know people who are successful who had a father that spent time in prison" speech. The odds are stacked against them, but it hinges upon the infrastructure those who love them put into place.

We can also look at the mental effects an abortion has on a young female...

Adoption is once again a better option

I know someone who dropped out of high school because she had a kid, got a GED, skip a few years of single parenting, is now a practicing physician. I know another who went through med school as a single mother, but I think she had the kid in college. Careers are difficult. Not impossible.

TBH,My kids would probably be better off if they had a father who didn't spend a significant amount of time in prison.
But I do what I can do. So,there's that.

I can't imagine a 15 year old girl being mature enough to handle the emotional effects of having an abortion.

I am certainly not saying that it's the 'average' because most are ghetto/trailer trash. But the difference is that they started that way. I don't know the OP but He has the chance to help her and make her life different than those.

Over sensationalize ? I responded respectfully with my philosophy on such things as the Op asked. Wtf? If you don't agree with my argument, address it. Pretty simple stuff.

You are only factoring in money in this instance, which is a stupid argument. I would have a lot more money if I didn't have kids, and my quality of life would be lower.
