Get ready for the repair bill and hope it’s not fiber. I hit a line in my yard while installing a fence and I’m not a customer and their lawyers sent me a bill for almost $2,000 and told me I’m lucky it wasn’t a fiber line.

Had a telephone pole laying across the road blocked traffic police couldn’t get anyone on the phone to own the service cable vs tele... so police guy whips out bolt cutters cut a huge bundle of fiber cable, I saw a splice guys there for two weeks.

Not sure what an AT&T "pole" is but I have a feeling you should not have been given permission to pull it up and cut he wires.
