Can you guys school me on buying marsh land? Me and some buddies have come across some tracts of marshland that have come up for sale recently and we’ve been considering it instead of continuing to lease for duck season. Any general thoughts would be helpful as it doesn’t seem to make much sense. How does it have any value if it continues to erode? Once it’s gone, what do you own, water? Thanks fellas.

None of that where I am. Either of the Jumonville subdivisions are going to be where more of the “upper class” families will be found, especially Jumonville North. Here in Lexington we have plenty of Firemen, Cops and Refinery bros. Just my street alone, my neighbors to either side are cops and directly across is an electrician who works at the refinery. Come on down one day brotha, happy to give you the grand tour lol
Meraux here, Lexington specifically. Love it. Old Arabi is a great option too. Great police and Fire Department. Property taxes are low. Make no mistake, this is a blue collar community. If you have Old Metairie expectations, you’re going to be disappointed.
Put in a fiberglass two summers ago. Cannot recommend them enough. We used Gulfstream, a company out of the Lafayette area. Went with one of the more basic designs, no hot tub or water features, standard lighting and decking. Basically just wanted a pool, no extra bells and whistles. We were about $45K all in-that was with an additional $5k to crane the shell over the house because my side yard was too narrow to roll it in.

Looking to Add a Cooker-Help

I have been contemplating adding another cooker to my backyard arsenal but with so many types and brands to choose from, I would love you guy’s opinions.
I currently have a Weber Kettle, a Traeger Ironwood and a Weber gas grill. Use them all for different things depending on what I’m cooking. What do you guys think would be a useful/fun addition? I’ll hang up and listen.

Also consider that there was a new 5 mils for Early Childhood Development that was voted on last year. Will also serve to increase the bill.
Mine was allergic to chicken. Eliminated all chicken from his food/treats and it stopped 90% of the licking.
Aside from this issue, would you recommend? I am very close to getting that exact model.
