And who asks for a diploma? Transcripts maybe. But a diploma?

I'm alive and don't even know where it is, certainly won't care when I'm dead.

I’m not even sure where it is right now.

Don't care. Hopefully my kids burn it in a campfire over a sip of bourbon. It's one of my most prized possessions, I worked harder for that thing than anything else in my life. I hope my kids have something better than that to remind them of me though.

I’m gonna carry it with me to the other side. See what this University of Phoenix paper will fetch me in the afterlife.

Do people actually frame their diplomas? My mom bought that one of those expensive frames LSU sold for it but I never used it. It's sitting in storage somewhere. They could toss it in the trash for all I care
It seems weird to display a undergrad diploma around the house

I don’t even know where mine is currently. Once I found out that you could have it mailed to you, I didn’t even go to Graduation. College was just a job as far as I was concerned. I went, then moved on to my next job.

It will probably get tossed along with a lot of other stuff that the kids don't want or need. Useless to them or me at that point.

After I retired, I threw all that stuff away…diplomas, awards, etc. Don’t need anymore…time to move on.

Will become more worthless than it is now

If you worry about a diploma afteryou die, it shows you don't have to be smart to get one.

Dunno, but I can guarantee that LSU and the TAF will find a way to reach me in the great beyond to ask for money.

I never had to get one. I’m 52 and a gamer. My dad is mid 80s and supports my gaming habits by working 2 jobs. He’s an a-hole
These two answers had me rolling.

Your nursing home throws it in the trash

It stays in a storage container through one more generation - then the next generation sends it via garbage to the landfill.

I could give a frick about my undergrad diploma and I am still alive and well. It’s from a geographic school in a state that renamed itself with another school at the same time and then let that other school just take over the entire state brand without so much as a give a shite. In fact the only people in said state that really complain about such a bold move is the flagship school that really shouldn’t be threatened about it anyway. Plus my degree, while it is in Management and that is what I do, prepared me very little for real world applications.
My Masters means much more.
