You worked hard for it and probably have it on display somewhere, and rightly so.
But then you kick the bucket. What happens to that paper?
It is lost to history. Your life means nothing. Very few are ever remembered.

Who cares? I don't think I ever needed mine. I sure never needed my HS diploma. I don't really know where it is.

Better question: do employers even follow up on claims of having a diploma?
Mine absolutely does and quite a few people have been fired for lying about it.

Nice try diploma frame salesman. You’re not fooling me this time.

My job hired a 3rd party that certainly did check my LSU and even High School diploma. I was surprised about the High school check.

Dunno, but I can guarantee that LSU and the TAF will find a way to reach me in the great beyond to ask for money.

It will continue to be used to allow my descendants front row parking.
Put it on the dash and any handicap spot is fair game.

My old high school shredded all their old records a few years ago. Unless the state has a copy on file I would have a hard time proving I ever graduated.

I have 4 of them but have no idea where they are now, am I dead? They’re deep in a box somewhere and never been framed or looked at since the day I got them

I highly doubt this unless you are a STEM

I will go ahead and put this to rest Jim by just looking at your post history there is no way in hell you graduated high school. Truth hurts

The only diplomas I've ever seen framed was at the doctors office. And the only reason I noticed them was because I was bored out of my mind.

My high school and college diplomas were ruined in Hurricane Katrina and were thrown away in 2005.
Who cares?

Aunt Becky will white out my name and write in one of her crack head grandkid's names on it.

My Dad passed away nearly 2 years ago. His LSU diploma, Loyola law school diploma, bar certification (or whatever it’s called) are all in frames in my attic. A friend said throwing them away is like throwing his memory away. But, they are in my attic, is that how I honor my dad? I think I’ll throw them out this spring.

I have no idea where my diplomas are. My parents had my law school diploma and Supreme Court admission framed but they got lost in a divorce. I never hung them anyway. It’s not a tremendous achievement.

At one time I had it framed.
I'm not sure where it is now.
I imagine in a box in a closet
