Not sure why I’m being downvoted. I went to catholic elementary school and we had mass that day. We went back to class after and took turns watching on an old tube tv.

At Woman’s hospital. My niece was born that day. Everyone in the waiting room were tuned into the tv while my sister was birthing her first child.

Freshman year of college. All of my classes were cancelled except for one prof. who didn't discuss it or acknowledge it. Just class as usual.

Getting ready for college class. I didn’t go to school that day. I spent most of the day visiting my grandfather at the local Veteran’s Home in Monroe along with numerous other veterans. The feeling I had watching the events with those men was something that o will cherish the rest of my life. Our greatest generation was ready to get out of their wheelchairs, put their legs back on, remove their scars, etc and fight for our country.

K on airline by women and children’s. Our pagers (yes that’s how long it’s been) went off that a plane had flown into the WTC. Remember it like it was yesterday. People still had the nerve to ask where their free shite was at Longbranch bar on Florida Blvd. That was a classy place. I’d walk out of there needing oxygen.
