When a 4-5 day coke or amphetamine binge required 1-2 weeks to recover.

Early 20s this was less than 24hrs.

Saw a kid I hadn’t seen since he was a child and did the shocked reaction of seeing someone grown up when you still pictured them as a child, and I thought “oh I get why old people do that now.”

My elbow started hurting during softball practice one random day, a few weeks later my back started hurting and I was stuck in bed for a week.

I used to wonder who were the 100 people surveyed on the family feud, now I realize that Oweo and cell tech are doing those surveys on the ot.

When I opened the cabinet in the bathroom one day and noticed there was no longer cologn and hair gel in there, it was replaced with preparation H and anti-fungal cream

Was talking to a guy from our IT dept and realized he was the little kid I saw while passing his house to/from work for 20 years. I remember when his mom was pregnant with him....and he's now working on this old lady's computer. Depressing.

A. A non arse kissing “sir”. I am at the gym re-racking dumb bells. “sir, are you done with those?” Young fella. About 23 or so.

B. Getting a haircut. Girl casually passes the clippers over my ear. This was ear fuzz I’d been denying for some time. Getting ear hair trimmed is a definite old man moment.

When Jordan Chunn (who now plays for Dallas by way of Troy St) ran over me in a HS game when I was umpiring and I forgot to wrap up. I felt it the next morning.

Lots of little pains here and there, and having to watch myself carefully when working or golfing in the heat.

The final straw was when the flames on my birthday cake candles merged into one large Dresden like firestorm melting icing and nearly setting fire to nearby presents.

when I pulled my back getting groceries out of the car

when playing basketball at the Y, and overhearing one of the college aged kids say "you picked the old guy?" and realizing he was talking about me
