That was a perfect example of mass hysteria.

Adjusted my usage forecast by lowering wipe count to 2 instead of 5 and immediate shower.

Toilet Paper is a luxury, not a necessity.

I witnessed a pushing "fight" in Costco over TP and paper towels. I have zero hope for humanity in the event of a real tragedy.

I had 4 24 packs of Cottonelle in the garage, not including the 10 or so that were already in the house. It's like booze, it never goes bad, and you will always use it up.

You’d think we would have learned.

As the freeze approached my neck of the woods this past week, people were emptying out the meat and fish department at HEB. Bread was also gone. Mind you, we were forecasted to have sub freezing temps for a few hours overnight on Sunday and Monday.

People who constantly complain about not being able to afford anything are suddenly loading up baskets with hundreds of dollars of steaks and ground beef, all because the temperature was going into the 20’s for a bit while we slept. It makes no sense to me.

TP was in supply however, as I think the constant jokes and memes made even the dumbest people realize how senseless TP hoarding was. This country is full of idiots, and it’s only getting worse if rational thinking can only come about when you are shamed on social media.

I had to buy the Sam's brand because they were out of Quilted Northern. It's like wiping with cardboard.

I was still trucking in 2020. Took a load from a DC to a Sam's in Missouri. I watched them unload and there was one pallet of tp on the trailer. As it was off loaded, the manager instructed that it be set aside. I asked one of the dock workers, what was up with the tp? He said that it was for the employees

See, you laughed at toilet paper hoarders. You seem to forget that the average person uses a roll a day, for a family of 5, thats 30 rolls a week 1560 rolls a year. Since corona virus is going to be around for a minimum of 18 months, you're fricked. I hope you like using a towel because we aren't sharing. And if you come raiding, I dare you. FROM. MY. COLD. DEAD. HANDS.
