I think it's even easier to be mediocre at a school like that. It's easier to stand out in a huge crowd of regular people than it is to stand out in a group of geniuses, even if you're a genius yourself.

I applied to lsu, georgia, and tulane. I got accepted to all 3 but I had the intention of going to LSU the whole time. No regrets and I feel like I accomplished good things there.

I think if I was coming fresh out of high school and money wasn't a factor, I would go to either georgia tech or MIT.

I guess their term isn't scholarship since it is Ivy League, but some kind of endowments/aid could be provided. I can't remember the letters now. I told all Yankee schools I wasn't interested
