I'm awaiting Jo-Jo's opinion on this matter.

Drive them offroad and you'll be suprised.
The H1 is a breakable but capable turd.
The H2 is an overweight full-size truck.
The H3 (non alpha) doesn't have enough power to junk its driveline, is capable, and gets surprisingly decent mileage.

I've never seen an H2 or H3 off the pavement or driven by a man

My buddy in PA has 2 H1s we would drive off-road. Beasts IMO

This should end this thread.

tough to beat a good hummer.

I'd rather have The Marauder.

The H1's all had unleaded gas motors right?
Why didn't they put a diesel in it so you got better mileage?

I'm trying to decide if you're joking
Guy in brusly had military H1s occasionally. I keep thinking about getting one as a camp truck.

As someone who typically only goes for Japanese 4x4s, the H3 with the I5 is the finest stock offroader ever in production.
IFS and no factory lockers is what you call the best stock off-roader ever in production? Okay.

Posted on 3/19/18 at 12:45 pm to Jor Jor The Dinosaur

....you get front and rear lockers in different packages.
I've got a 4.0l Rubicon, a 3rd gen 4runner, and just parted with my 1.5 gen xterra.
Those vehicles were the offroad competitors for the H3. Each is better and worse in their own way.

What was the OTs opinion on the Hummer (H1, H2, or H3)?
They are good off road vehicles that were primarily a status symbol (like Land Rovers) and canceled during the recession.
Judging by what Jeep is charging for the Wrangler Unlimited today, General Motors is probably kicking themselves for not keeping Hummer around.

The H3 offered factory lockers as an option. Don't know about the other two.
