The time of Noah. Only 8 people were left to repopulate the Earth.

Crusades, Nazi Germany, and the rule of Genghis Khan

You don’t know much about the Cusades if you include them in the same sentence as those other two.

WWI
WWII
Black Death
Spanish flu
30 years war

Off the top of my head, these all were far more devastating in terms of death toll and suffering than the Crusades.

You must not be very knowledgeable of history. The Nazis simply brought modern tech and that Teutonic penchant for engineering and efficiency to an ages old genocide game.

14th century in general was pretty fricking awful for a lot of people all over the world:

- Plague
- Timur cutting a huge path of destruction all over the known world
- 100 Years War

Any period where great knowledge was lost .

Fall of Rome is a good one. People were tearing apart the aqueducts for the stones. Rome had invented a crude steam engine. Imagine if we would have went through the Industrial Revolution in 50AD!

The Japs in WWII then Soviet Union and China after the war were way worse than the Nazis.

Hiroshima and Nagasaki IMO. Not saying their use wasn’t justified, just the sheer fact that man developed and used such horrible weapons on one another.

Fall of Rome to 1500

This is a something I really didn’t understand until I studied the period in college, but the Byzantines were Rome. So Rome really didn’t fall until 1453.

The Japs in WWII

The WWII Museum has a section on what the Japs did to the Koreans and Chinese. Germans didn't have anything, or much, on the Japs.
