I have a lab/akita mix who is 12 or 13 now. Been through a lot of shite with me. Kept me safe when I lived that life on Gardere/Staring.
Currently have a younger female lab who is awesome as well but IDK if she will top my ole fluffy man.

I had a cat in college that was pretty awesome. Charlie was his name. He just showed up a few days after we moved into our house one summer, and never really left so I claimed him. He was almost like a dog the way he followed me around. Some psycho girl my roommate dated for a whole stole him from us we think. Never could prove it though.
The boxer my wife and I got right after we got married was the best dog I ever owned. Lars was his name. Super protective, while also being super friendly.
