How you not gonna mention the Cotton Club. I mean we were barely old enough to reach the shuffleboard pucks when it was open but I remember it!

TD's at the Hilton---hot arse waitresses dressed in sexy outfits.

Sheraton had a nice bar and I sat next to Andre the Giant in there once.

Bellmont was historic. Kige & Oweo could have laid there.

I think it's worth mentioning Peking Gardens in this thread.

Mr. Ho made the strongest zombies in town. You were limited to 2 of the individual drinks, or one of the volcano bowls.

Getting a pupu platter and a zombie volcano from Mr. Ho was a great way to start the night.

Old Hammond across from Burlington Coat Factory.
Street View

It burnted down in 2013. It was on the backside of this building.

I remember when it was .05 beer and .25 calls. I'd go there for lunch, get blasted on $1.00 and stagger into my afternoon class.

It was on the North corner of University Shopping Center which doesn't exist anymore. The shopping center was on the corner of State and Highland where College Row at North Gate is now.

John Mahaffey loved the Happy Note. He would sit at the bar in his Members Only jacket.

My hang-outs were The Bayou, The Caterie, Southdowns Lounge, Tiger Lair Lounge, Cypress Hollow, POETS, Mother's Mantle, and any place that had good live music.
