The stretch slim fit is a wonderful jean, but like you said the cuts are inconsistent. Frustrating as hell!

However, if you can find 511s that fit...they're very comfortable great looking jeans.

Blame society to a certain degree. We have norms on what's masculine (and also what's feminine as well, and women are equally guilty) and those that are insecure about themselves (subconsciously I'd imagine) lash back when confronted with something that falls outside of those norms.

Confronted? By Mr. Tight jeans and his band of Merry Men?

Yes.

Why

Because fashion is a reprehensible part of pop culture that uses advertising to prey on gullible people, mainly women. Nothing wrong with dressing nice, but don't be a sheep. There are leaders and followers, fashion conscious people are generally trend followers.

Out of curiosity, what do you do for a living, and what does your wardrobe generally consist of?

I must admit, your responses in this thread are definitely giving me a certain impression of you.

Well, to a certain extent, fashion is as old as civilization, so I disagree to a certain extent. Sure, aspects of it are commoditized and commercialized just like various other items, so I understand not appreciating that aspect.

People actually care what others think about them on a message board? I guess it just goes along with your fondness for skinny jeans and Keds.

Why do you think this thread is about what other people think? Weird.
