Lafayette. I’m from NorthLa, but accept that our identity is largely Cajun/French ancestry. I have no problem just explaining to people that I’m from the duck dynasty part of the state.

These are the 2 I think of when I think of LA "culture".

A big tourist city like NOLA is always going to define the LA culture to people with no ties to LA, but distilling down LA to one culture (which can't really be done) the first place on the tip of my tongue is Houma, and Thibodaux follows right after.
