Yes. He ordered a letter and mistakenly used the wrong name when checking out.

Could be a collection agency trying to contact a previous resident.

I've never dealt with Verizon in any way whatsoever. They shouldn't even have my address. It is just annoying.

A cursory look on the Googler shows a bunch of complaints about that returns center. Sounds about right.

Oh, so the person lives there? That is there address. No problem.

The address is there, but it is not their address.

Go to your parish's tax assessor's website. Find the property search feature. Search for the person's name that the envelope was addressed to.

Very possible that its just an issue of 2 numbers got transposed on the address label and it got sent by mistake to 350 Baw Blvd instead of 530

The address is correct, but the name I've never heard before. As far as FedEx is concerned it has been delivered to the correct address. It is a letter type, cardboard envelope that was sent overnight.

Do I open it?

Yes. If there's any powder in it, sniff it and see what happens then report back to us.

I suspect this may be a trap and/or poor advice.

Apparently there’s a thing where Amazon Sellers have to generate a shipment to leave favorable bot reviews on Amazon so they’ll just straight up send random cheap stuff to random addresses.

Figured this was an interesting idea. Tried it, and nothing came back for the last name.

They must be way off on this miss.

Do I open it? Spend no telling how long trying to get in touch with FedEx? I've never had this happen before.

Id call fed ex after I opened it to see what it was. If It wasn't something I wanted I would get them to come get it. I don't suffer from irrational fears like FedEx delivering a death package to my door though...hell the door ain't even locked.

Could have come up as someone you may know. Even if you stayed at an apt complex 10 years ago or something. Some of these people try a variety of fishing tactics.
