Assuming you physically saw mouse run inside from outside, I’d say keeping your doors closed would be ideal moving forward.

Assuming this is bullshite since mice only run through the door on cartoons, my advice is set a few traps or call an exterminator, if your house is nasty tidy the place up a bit. I know people don’t like strays running around their house/neighborhood, but we’ve got 2 gutter cats in my neighborhood and they handle shite. The abundance of red tail hawks don’t hurt that cause either

Totally worth the risk.

Why get rid of it? They don't carry nearly as many diseases as the old days. They don't eat much.

Train it to do tricks like Mr. Jingles, in The Green Mile. He was smart.

Stand on a chair in the kitchen and scream until a man kills the mouse.

I had one come in about a year ago.

There is a trap where they run into a hole and it slams shut. You never even see th, just throw it away.

It was weird, I live on the second floor, was just a field mouse, would have let him go if I could have shoo’d him out

Can you entice the mouse to meet you there? How do you check its knuckles if it does?

Snap trap. If you’re squeamish, they make a newer version of the old-school one where you don’t see the smashed mouse. Put a little peanut butter as bait, and places it along a wall behind something. If there’s a mouse, you should get him within a couple days.

Once I woke at 1am and went to get a drink of water from the kitchen. I turned on the light and saw a mouse scurry under the fridge. I got dressed, went to Walmart, bought a mouse trap and a jar of peanut butter. Got home and set up the trap at 2:02am. Went Bach to bed and within three minutes I heard the trap snap. Went in kitchen and there was the dead mouse at 2:05. So, clearly, you need to burn down your house and start over.

Get a bunch of traps. Sticky pads and snap traps. Put them all out. No more mouse within 24 hours

It would elude you anytime. It’s a mouse, they are quick and small.

Buy traps, why do you need this advice?

YOU do too. Don't act like you're so special.

And they are just tiny little pooplets.

Generally speaking, when you think you only have one, you have more than that.

We had mice in the house when we tried to reclaim it after the flood. We discovered them after we closed the walls and put in doors. We threw poison bags is the attic I was afraid they would die in the walls but, luckily, it did not happen. We recovered a few bodies by the dogs water bowl.
