Throw in a little Boudreaux stock (Lafayette area) and some old school Hemphill stock (Arkansas) and you really had something.

Old man Jenkins had some really good stock over by Covington also.

I remember as a kid, a piece of sh&t pitbull had my dog by the throat. My dad got a shovel and buried it into the pitbull's back and spine. He let go and fell straight down. Enjoyed watching him slowly die.

PS - I'm not fingering its a-hole myself.
You giving him a reach around while someone else fingers his a-hole?

Like I said, I had pits back in the 70 to mid 90's. I had a couple dogs from Floyd Boudreaux line and had 2 red nose from Hemphill.
Those red nose were some of the best looking pits I had and my last dog that I had to put down in 95 was a red nose Hemphill lineage.
Almost all of my dogs were UKC Purple Ribbon Bred registered.

I bet you had some old Colby in there too. I attended shows with Robbie Ricourd out of Livingston. Sounds like we knew a lot of the same folks.

If you don’t have a pocket knife here is the answer.
Smash t your body weight on the pitbull and reach arm under his neck. He will not go for you he is only focused on his target. Make an arm bar and choke the dog until it passes out.

I was living in the lower 9th and one day walking my 50 lb. male pit that I got out of Maurice Carver stock and that damn dog was all hips, chest and had a head like an old dial-up telephone.
I'm walking back home on St. Claude near Alabo with the dog on a 10 ft. leash and passing a mechanics shop when out of nowhere a big German Shepherd comes tearing across the lot. My dog spotted it and before I could say anything, they clashed and my pit got hold of the Shepherd's head.
This doesn't make you cool.

I mean what's your suggestion? I'm not discharging a firearm over someone else's dog, and certainly not going Rambo on that dogs arse over another person's dog.

I wish I still had the papers on those dogs. Yes, there was Coldy blood in their bloodline and many Champion dogs to boot.
We're talking a different time and mentality going back to those old time breeders and they were famous for their "Game Bred" dogs with Championship lineage.
I'm now 72 and back in the late 60's and up for a few decades later it was easy to find events that showcased pits------you know, sled pulling and agility events and a few others, including clandestine meetings

I could incapacitate one with a kick. I’d tee off on that m’fr

Didn't claim that it did. Just relaying a story about how easy it is to remove a pit from biting with a break stick------nothing more, nothing less.

Shoot it
Do better.
Don’t bring a stinky finger to a pit bull fight

Eh, the problem is if it's a dog being attacked it will bite you in the frenzy. I know from personal experience.

This. I have the scar on my forearm to verify. Luckily some stitches for me saved my 4 month old dog's life.

Just do exactly exactly what this man says.

I’d get a running start and kick it like I was trying for a 57 yarder. If it came after me I guess I’d have to try and rip its balls off.
Not glamorous by any means but we’re talking life and death here.
