Realistically, in the next year or two and then add 40 to that.

Any time in there

The Bubonic Plague and the era immediately after was really really really dark. Like it sucked on a level it’s hard for us to imagine. Like chroniclers of the time make a point to say that parents abandoned children and children abandoned parents. Also, there was a huge amount of civil and economic unrest and violence. The Jaquery in particular who were French rebels. Capitalism was outright legal. Seeking a profit for yourself could result in a death penalty.

I’d probably say 1500s. Most brutal time period I’ve ever read about. Things like that was human drama at its pinnacle. So many devastating wars. Torture was at its height for common use. Religious and political turmoil unlike anything the world has seen. Poor living conditions.

Back that up about 200 years and you have your answer.

The 1300s was arguably the worst century in recorded human history.

Arguably, sure. You could say the 20th century and the 16th century were worse. For different reasons. I think the 15th because it still boggles my mind on what was happening then. It’s hard for me to encompass. I feel like I have a much better grasp of the 14th century

The Cryogenian Period. ice caps reached the equator resulting in "Snowball earth". I would not be a fan of living then.

Come on people. Specific time period. Don’t be lazy

Depends on if we're talking just a time or a time and a place?

Yeah, the Dark Ages in Europe just after Rome pulled out say between 450-1066 would be rough I would think. But the period from 1066 to 1550 probably was worse in terms of war and such .... especially during the Plantagenet Dynasty.

Italy after the fall of Rome had to be a bitch for a few hundred years.

Wouldn't have wanted to live anywhere within reach of Genghis Khan's hordes, or those of his sons quite honestly.

Aztec and Myan dynasties were fricking horrible.

To be honest, might have been pretty sweet being a citizen of Rome anywhere from 300BC-150AD.

Might have been pretty sweet living in Charleston, SC from 1720-1859.

I think I would have least liked to have lived in Spain during the The Umayyad conquest of Hispania, also known as the Muslim conquest of the Iberian Peninsula or the Umayyad conquest of the Visigothic Kingdom, from 711 to 788.

It has led to so many consequences since and it continues to have consequences to this very day. Bad consequences.

Between 07:34:21 & 12:55:43 GMT of 11/14/1912.

Somewhere on the Prime Meridian.

Specific enough?
