Legos. I had one of those huge bags that had strings on it that you could hang on the back of the door in my bedroom and when you wanted to play with them, you just took it off and lay it down and you could play with them and it was easy to pick back up when you were finished. I use to mix all my sets together.
Baseball cards until football & basketball cards became more available. Then I collected them instead.
Money. Seriously, when I got money I would put it up and consider myself a money collector.

Slush Puppy used to be served in mini MLB batting helmets. Had a ton of them. Baseball/football cards.
