I have my grandfathers Navy issued pea coat from the Korean War.

It’s still in great condition. I wear it when the weather allows. Has to be pretty cold though; the coat probably weight 8lbs. You can feel the weight and density when you put it on.

I have a sports coat that’s ten years old. I hardly wear it so it stays in great condition.

Btw - for the OP - do old ties from my dad count?? Ha. He had some solid old school 70s ones I break out from time to time to frick with people. Ha. Just hard to make some work with OT Baller Canali custom fit suits i've got...

I haven't changed size in 30-some years, and I have items from back then. But the one I love most is my late father-in-law's Hart Schaffner & Marx overcoat he bought in Seattle circa 1938. The thing is gorgeous and in perfect condition.

But only get to wear it a few times a year...

Had an original Adidas ringer shirt from the 70s and an ancient Rumple Minze shirt that I got from Thrift City on Carrollton back in the early 90s, still fit in both of them but they both got lifted.

ETA: shite. Almost forgot my favorite jacket and pull over.

My ex-wife bought me a hat like the one worn in the movie "Indiana Jones" when it first came out in 81 and I still have it and will wear it a couple times a year.

Other than that, I have a leather jacket I wear when needed when on my motorcycle that I got in the early 90's that is still going strong.

Cold weather stuff that you don't wear as much lasts longest.

Wearing one such item now-- a teal-green Izod sweater my mom gave me in 1987. Also have a red wool Pendleton sweater that my dad and stepmom gave me the same year.

Not quite as old is a tweed jacket that I got in 1993 that I still wear very often in colder months. Had the lining replaced a few years back, though.
