Damn, didn't realize it's not that much bigger than the moon, that's pretty cool.

Considering its 2.5 million light years away, the size is nowhere near that of the moon

Unless your kidding, then they are the same size

Wait, it's actually smaller than the moon? Weird how depth perception can change so much.

It would. Unfortunately congress is too busy fighting wars in the middle east and outlawing the bible to fund it. Thanks Obama.

The slim chance of him being serious made me want to let him know. I thought I could have saved him some major embarassment later.

Can you imagine being at a spacestation and be like, hey we will be there soon. Stewardesses, please secure the cabin and get ready for takeoff.

The only thing dumber than you is a rock on the moon. Actually, there might be some bacteria 5 billion years old there, which means you would be second place.

You probably think the moon is smaller than the Andromeda Galaxy.

Wow!

After college I was accepted into an Astronomy master's program - I figured I wasn't smart enough to make it through on my own merit so I declined. Once in a blue moon I regret that decision (pun intended). But space..:. It still gets me...
