States that I’ve never spent overnight:
Kansas
Nebraska
Mississippi
Oklahoma
Indiana
New Jersey
Looking at that, ya not a whole lot to do.

The states with the least amount of attractions are probably Indiana, New Jersey, Connecticut (and I lived there for more than a year and liked it), Delaware, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Kansas, and Mississippi.
My gf and I rented a cabin in Oklahoma and liked it a lot, but we could have had a similar experience in many places.

ND is pretty barren except for its badlands, Teddy Roosevelt park area.
SD has some gorgeous areas--Custer State Park is one of the best in the Country. Badlands beautiful.
Really SC? beautiful natural beaches and marshes, Charleston, Greenville, mountains. Bizarre pick.

ND does seem barren. SD on the other hand looks like a great place for a 5-6 day trip.

Anywhere in the Pacific northwest due to the crazy white idiots. Also New York doesnt appeal to me.

I bet you think Idaho is interchangeable with Iowa. I'm glad many people do.

Genuine question: why?
I'm amazed at the number of people saying New York. If you're not a city person, I understand. But the state itself is incredibly diverse and has something that would appeal to just about anyone, in my opinion.

Its a true. Bought a shirt from Raygun in Des Moines that says Iowa: The great potato state
and has a map of Iowa with Idaho cities.

Indiana, Ohio, and West Virginia. Never been to any of them don't want to go. I'd throw in Oklahoma but I already been there. Nebraska sucks minus Omaha, South Dakota is absurdly gross throughout 95% of the state.
all the others have redeeming aspects. Most states do in fact have a few spots worth visiting. I been to like 35 or so.

Lake Placid is incredibly underrated. Probably because it’s not easy to get to.

Idaho is beautiful. As is upstate New York. NYC is in itself another world and worthy of a visit even if you don't like "cities"
Texas is pretty boring considering how ginormous it is, but it does have some pretty good parts, too.

One state I would love to live in is Vermont but holy hell the people there are nuts. Unfortunate.

With the exception of New Jersey, Mississippi has more to do than the rest of those states listed.

Don’t skip New Mexico. Has some really gorgeous scenery.
