Cities in CT are quite dicey. They are all shitholes. Mystic Seaport can go piss up a rope.

Yeah I think Hartford is shite in some areas but out in the rural areas it’s gorgeous. Old churches and cemeteries from the 1800s, babbling brooks, fall color change...I like that kind of character

The zoo in Omaha is worth a visit, plus there is the College World Series if that is your thing. Then, you can drive across the river and visit Iowa for 5 minutes before turning around back to Omaha.
