I got in my pool this morning after mowing the grass around 10:30. Other than to pee and eat lunch, I was in there until around 6:00. Neighbors came and went. It was a good time.

Makes perfect sense to me. I was a lifeguard/pool manager for 3 summers during high school and college and the amount of time to maintain a pool properly is absurd. Pools are great though, if they belong to someone else...

This Florida man uses his pool several times a week because it’s so damned hot in this place. It’s the fastest way to cool off and refresh oneself. I’ve had it for 23 years.

I don’t find maintaining a pool that time consuming once you are just maintaining it. Key is to not let it get out of control.
ETA: I mostly like to have a drink in my hand while I float. Guilty pleasure is a lazy river but it’s trashy I know.
