Same here. First time I saw them as a kid I was in awe of the importance of those documents. Unbelievable, even for an 8 year old me.

The Archives is a must visit for anyone ever making a trip to DC.

The Grand Canyon

Pictures can't do it justice

yep

I hiked to the bottom and then another mile to a ranch. It truly is unbelievable. Viewing from the top will leave you in awe, but the sheer vastness of it as you hike down is hard to even imagine. We kept thinking "ok, we are almost to the Colorado River, this feels like the bottom". Then we would round a corner and it would drop another 1,000 feet and the topography would completely change. Unreal.

Stonehenge.

I got to see them in the early 70's, when you could still walk between the stones and touch them.

Driving up to the site and seeing it in the mist was really awe inspiring.

It's something else. You can easily hike to some of the glaciers. Ice caves are easy to access in winter

Edinburgh, Scotland

Walking around the city streets and seeing a huge castle built on hill 100 feet above you is incredible.

Baws, if you ever go to the UK, add Edinburgh to your list. The whole city is incredible.

I have a greater appreciation for natural wonders than manmade - just my inclination. So for me - Yosemite. Valley floor, glacier point, Taft point, sentinel dome at night. I will def go back and hike half dome.

Another place on my bucket list - Banff. That place looks jaw dropping in pics.

The Rocky Mountains the first time I saw them. 3 of us went across the USA on motorcycles. We did about 8 hours of night riding all the way into Colorado. We made a campsite near Boulder at about midnight. When the sun came up, it was a shock and awe to see the size and scale of those mountains.

My wife for some reason is on a huge kick for winter trips. She enjoys the cold. So this may be right up her alley as well. Awesome pics. You take them?
