I was friends with a retired BR cop back when I was at LSU. In the midst of all the Lee/Gillis/Guillory stuff he told me going back to the late 80's he figured there were 4 or 5 serial killers that were in the Baton Rouge area during that timespan. He was convinced 2 had to know each other.

Ed Kemper decapitated his mother, had sex with her head and then used it as a dart board. Besides that, he was a good boy.
He also placing the remains of one of his chopped -up victims and carried it around in a bag hanging from his belt. He said that he once walked into a bar that was frequented by cops to have a beer, with the bag hanging from his hip. Dude was 6'10 with, well...an attitude.
