the Wikipedia page isn't updated with this information. It is a concise and interesting read however.

90% of the operators I work with have college degrees FYI. I know it’s a hot topic of the OT, but most are highly educated, smart people.

As an operator, I would disagree with that statement. :D
But there definitely are some very smart and technical guys, and there are some dumb as rocks.
But edit: I wouldn’t include the word “most” in there from my experience.

Anybody that says operator, they don’t know what they’re talking about. Turnaround welders, fitters and boilermakers are the truck nutz type.

I absolutely don’t know what I’m talking about.
So what do operators drive?

It's definitely more associated with upstream baws on drilling rigs. Roustabouts all the way up to tool pushers. The size of the nuts are inversely proportional to pay grade. Truck nut capital is somewhere between New Iberia and Fourchon.

In April 2008, the Florida Senate voted for a $60 fine for displaying truck nuts,
I would think Florida has a few other pressing concerns to address before feeling the need to strip FlordiBaw from his truck nutz.

These numb nuts think the plant will shut down if they don’t fricking show up, but all said and done, they are a fricking TV repair man

Most drive 1/2 ton pickups, a few have 3/4 ton. But off the top of my head theres a Jetta, camaro, Audi, Vette, Jeep. No truck nuts

It's not the amount of stickers it's what kind of stickers. If he has a bunch of safety badges and company stickers, that's a real plant baw and probably doesnt have a set of truck nuts.
It's the worms with those dumbass F-IT and Monster stickers that drive lifted 1500s with straight pipes and 4" lifts
