The more you dive in, the more interesting Oklahoma actually is. It’s a major crossroads in America.

Bakersfield California

O&G, Country Music, Crime, Meth, Poor, Conservative, affordable-ish, small town feel, desert not far, agriculture town in a lot of way.

Houston is pretty much southern....but I don't know how western it is....Dallas is the midwest....far more culturally similar to chicago and detroit than Atlanta and New Orleans....

It’s pretty blended, so less in your face. Coming from the southeast, there’s things that scream say, but there’s things that say western USA.

Correct answer.....I would have also said Bakersfield CA up until maybe 10 years ago.

Fresno area is very redneck. Lot of baws in that area. Bubba from In the Heat of the Night used to be mayor

Someplace in the SE portion of California's Central Valley is likely the answer.

Where's the poster from Moreno Valley/San Bernardino area? I'm sure he'd agree and think we have some towns in California... Perris, Romoland, Nuevo??? Mixture of country western and heirarchy within races, sprinkled with a bit of meth to represent today's southern culture.
