No to the Russians. Sorry, they’re way too cold of a culture and Americans are too loud and obnoxious to get along with them. Lived in Beijing for 3 years, and the biggest most major country I didn’t get a friend from was Russia. Russians are weird and very standoffish.

And the answer is Brits, Irish, Germans, and Aussies. I really appreciate their humor and their drinking.

Australians for sure, but also Irish, Scots, Brits, Kiwis... there's a trend.

I’ve travelled quite a bit and 99.9% of Aussies/Kiwis I met were chill af. The two groups of people that surprised me with how receptive they were to Americans were Brazilians and Dutch people. I never met a Brazilian person who didn’t treat me like a member of their family. The Dutch people stood out because a lot of people from Europe seem to hold prejudices against Americans but I never experienced that with a Dutch person. Also, they look at you funny if you say the Netherlands instead of Holland and I liked that.

This. I also encountered this with people from Israel. The Israelis generally had a lot more money though.

The French are also trapped in the 19th century and they consider France a great power still.

I think they still have nuclear weapons. So there's always the remote possibility that France could flambée us to a delicious golden brown, revealing a hearty aroma matched only by our delicate flavor and exquisite tenderness.

considering half of americans hate the other half, the answer is definitely not Americans.

As far as us liking them, i'd agree with australia

as far as them liking us, probably somewhere in Asia, maybe the philippines or india

mutually liking each other, may be the UK or even Germany

East bloc satellite states & FSU states. Strong men & feminine ladies.

Feels like your still in the 1970's & 1980's before the propaganda got bad.

For the most part, I get along with everyone. If I have to choose, I seem to get along best with English people, Greek people and people in the Caribbean.

Big no on that one. I worked for a German company for a while. The Germans didn't like the Americans and the feeling was more than mutual.

New Zealanders and Australians I really like. Brits mostly. Colombians. Greeks. Most places really.

Seconded.

Or the way their fellow British Isler neighbors the female Brits with a posh accent say the word “cohn-dohme”.

In general, if language isn’t an insurmountable issue, I’ve gotten along with folks from all over the planet when traveling.

I've worked with Germans also. Kind of hit and miss with these folks. I do like the trait that they say what they mean.
All of the anglophone countries are easy to get along with except working on projects with Canadians was sometimes frustrating since they seemed to be always say what you want to hear but then they would do whatever the hell they wanted to do.

Most people from the UK are cool.

Most people from Ireland are cool too, but I’ve met some psychos.

Germans are like 50/50. The ones who love the US are some of the best/fun people you will meet, but they have a shite-ton of liberal weirdos too.

The absolute best people in the world are Aussies and white South Africans. If you know some, you know what I mean.

Afrikaners are some of the coolest meaux feauxs around. They make most rednecks look soft. Aussies rock.....Kiwis from the South Island > North Island Auckland types.

The best are Lebanese Christians and other MidEast Christians....get them drunk, good times....also every single one that I know who lives state side had multiple firearms
