Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass lol. My mom had the album with Taste of Honey on it. She also blared Hank Williams Sr 24 greatest hits every Sunday.

My dad is an old Italian guy from New Jersey, so I grew up on Doo Wop. Hated it at the time, but it’s pretty awesome now.

my parents listened to everything from Motown to Jimmy Buffett and everything in between so no real complaints

one time on a road trip my mom snuck a Ronnie Millsap CD into the rotation which was horrible... but now it makes me laugh looking back so IDK if that would even count

This post had more downvotes than upvotes (until I tied it up with an upvote), but this is actually funny to me.

I mentioned in another post about how my parents listened to different music then my older siblings listened to different music, but if someone was flipping through the radio and a Ronnie Milsap song came on, you left it on just to joking around "there's a silence in between us". Like I cant listen to "If You Don't Want Me To" and be serious.

But there was one country singer I thought was the man. He just had a certain swag... A ladies man type swag about him that I liked even when I was a kid.. Conway Twitty..

None. I still remember Luckenbach, Texas playing on the 33. Love that song to this day.

My parents both liked country music and so do I, so we’re all good.
