Because its a job for them, not a career.
This is partly true. They have some chick fil a workers that make a career out of it. However, unlike other fast food places, their career in chick fil a is more along the lines of that they work they way up to management, then can become owners of their own chick fil a after they are schooled by chick fil a. And they are usually the type of people you would want to own them, as far as them being motivated to do well because of what they're being offered in return.

Other fast food places have people who make careers out of the minimum wage positions. And the ones who become managers have usually been working their for years or are the ones on staff who can read.

They actually hire enough people. It’s tough to keep a good attitude when you are doing the work of 2-3 people.

I don’t eat at McDonalds any more. I eat at places that show me respect and honor the dollar that I worked hard for. Chick-fil-A hires good people of all races. They are polite and respectful. I’m surprised McDonalds isn’t losing market share. And don’t get me talking about Burger King and their shite show. Pulling 3 or 4 cars over in the drive thru. Waiting 20 minutes for a whopper is BS. It would help if BK could hire folks who can count change too.

I actually forgot his name and if I googled it I wouldn't know if it would be the same guy I talked to. It was a phone interview. I sent them an email, told them I was a student at Louisiana State University and I guess asked if it was possible I can a phone interview with the guy's name. I am sure I could go into my PAWS account and see if I still have that email.

In fact, they replied and said he wasn't available to do an interview at the time I was going to do it and that I would be interviewing the 2nd in charge (not their words, I am paraphrase). I remember getting a nice email from the head of marketing saying that he would be available at that time and gave me his direct line to call.

Why the frick would I make that up dumbass?

My Dad was a teacher. The local chick from fil a owner was really active with the school. Did career day, interview practice with the kids and classes whenever. Only hired the best kids and recruited the, out of that and asked the teachers and principles for references.
He had the best quality kids and didn’t make many mistakes in hiring because he eliminated the guesswork

Not true. There are several owners with more than one store in Houston area. You can tell cause they are the worst stores I have ever been in.

None of them “own” a store. They are operators with a buy in to the store. I have a friend who operates two stores. My 17 year old daughter works at one of them.

5 pages until someone has the correct info. The company builds the store and you operate. Several other brands do this method. It started with chicken places from years ago. They still have control bc they own it.

Easy to see difference in many quality places. Not just food but experience. CFA, INO Burger, Jersey Mikes, Tacos 4 Life, Canes... they have a lot of motivated employees and mgt is engaged.

Not to long ago CFA employee in drive through literally asked if eating in would be better and they would set up a table for our family. (3 kids). Are you kidding me?? Manager served us our food. Not trying to be a CFA homer but to answer question management is on point, and not above refilling your drink. They practice what they preach (pun) Easily what sets them apart IMO.
