You've done all this superficially cool stuff, yet you're still here unfulfilled and asking questions.
I'd offer that the depth of a meaningful experience fills the soul more than the breadth of a bunch of surface-level experiences.

We get but one life (that we know of.) Will we get to live another? I'm a firm believer in understanding the life you're given and doing the most to realize that. But, I've not discounted that we can make tremendous changes in who we are and who we can become.
My tenth grade teacher once told me, "You're an eternal optimist." I hate labeling, but I can't deny it: I believe when you believe in yourself -- good things happen.

An interesting life and a life well- lived are two completely separate things. When I was young I was focused on being a guy who has a lot of " stories" the living abroad, the weird and wonderful serendipitous things . Now I'm trying much harder to focus on the quiet, internal things that are part of just being, the life of reflection and service. Being a Buddhist practitioner and sharing that with my children and being more deliberate and focused on being here now and not thinking forward has really changed my perspective. Because it really is quite the self- illusion, a narrative that only exists in our own minds. We feed our own egos to survive.
I think in the end it's about being true to yourself in a really honest way. It's not about the awards you have given yourself in your mind or how you have punished yourself for not giving yourself more awards. Overcoming ego is a big part of that and that is a constant process that gets easier with age.

This actually seems pretty close to perfect to me... Except in my case it's two dogs... definitely want to do the RV thing one day.. but i doubt my wife will ever be fully paid for, lol
