It didn’t come from Neil, Buzz or any other human being. Could your “moon rock” have come from the moon? Possibly, but not from a manned-flight to the moon. It hasn’t happened.

Something I’ve learned on this earth is:
Faith isn’t truth, it’s just believing.
Stop believing. THINK.
In 1972 and afterwards, scientific telescopes and radio communication had advanced to a point where further “untruths” (i.e. lies) wouldn’t work going forward. Put the pieces together and pull your head out of the sand.
The gig was up. And they knew it in ‘72. Hence, “all technology to reach the moon destroyed”. Why? But you’ve been there so damn many times without a single failure?
THINK people.
Obvious and logical: Never happened.
The simplest and most logical explanation is most often right: It simply didn’t happen.
Piece it together:
Apollo 13: Nine trips, no problem.
All technology destroyed: Why?
56 YEARS later: Not a single person, business, government, country has figured anything out.
The greatest technological advancements in history have happened after a pocket calculator got 9 missions to the moon with 6 landing on the surface and back, no prob.

All signs point to > Never happened to begin with.
Thanks all. While they apparently had operating issues and a poorer location, I remember them being a cheaper Cane’s clone. Seems like now, if someone could open a consistent chain, but at a lower price-point, they would print money.
I remember they were adjacent to each other (it was Cane’s #2 location). They were to me, identical in menu and quality, but Cane’s building was new & nicer (may have rehabbed). Surely someone has more info than what AI can piece together.
He has no idea what it means, hence the stupid post. She was a great poster on the F&D board.
The best investments may take time to discover. SportsGuyNola is on the same page. Look at what your “luxury” Lexus has saved over time (I bought a used 460GX). Unbelievable vehicle. We’ll never buy anything but Toyota/Lexus (other than Honda/Acura if it’s a ridiculous offer.)

I’d love to have Speed Queen, but it’s not necessary. We bought a set from Whirlpool in ‘98 (I think). I have replaced the big main spinning selector $13 (eBay), the dog ears multiple times $3. Replaced the rotator belt drum for the dryer $12. It’s just easy to save money.

I was given a 2018 set of washer/dryer after someone passed and I sold them. The things built today are meant to breakdown quickly.
I had one of mine have the same. Vet performed surgery and stapled his stomach I think to his ribs so it couldn’t happened again. Lived the longest life. Best dogs are Great Danes. I wish you the best. Miss him still.

Love your posts, but the inevitability of it taking over is apparent.

In the mid-80s w/ limited technology working at McDonald’s: Get customers out within 1 minute after order placement and with accuracy.

Now, with given all the options & privileges technology has provided, service & accuracy sucks arse. Yet, you have these “industry people” tell you, you are wrong for thinking this not happening lightning-fast.

They can’t wait to fire them all. It’s over. Quicker than that idiot thinks.

Whether that’s true or not: It simply doesn’t matter. It doesn’t matter if anyone’s an alcoholic or obese and shoveling down that.
What I’m saying is, the people working at these places will be replaced by AI & robots.

And that, right soon.

Tyga’s saying “ain’t happening in the near future”. He’s wrong. It’s happening now.

Doesn’t matter if you believe it’s not true, Tyga. It is absolutely happening as you bury your head in the sand.
The constant threat of liability and the utter ineptitude/DGAS of current employees forces these decisions on even the most ethical/moral companies.
AI will be taking the orders, preparing the food, then handing it to you. Game Over for the unskilled in the job market. You can see where this leads for society.
American. Specifically, Southern American.

re: help Florida man make gumbo

I’d be willing to help, but you’re quite an opinionated poster. I chalk that up to you being young.
How many people are you feeding?
Have you ever made gumbo before?
Do you want to make “This dude is the GUMBO KING!” or just having friends/family over for the holidays and make gumbo?

Your first mistake is that you want to make a thiccc gumbo. You want a flavorful gumbo that people can’t get enough of. NO style & Mary Mahoney’s is fine and I’ll eat it by the cup. But, you want them craving; as in, they can’t be satisfied with one helping.

I just made 10 gallons for my family, my brother, & my sister’s family and it’s gone.
In the early 90s, I dated a girl who was five years older than me (I was early 20s). We went through a drive-thru & got a bag of food.
Leaving the place, I was getting on the intersection to the highway & there was a homeless guy with a sign. Before I could finish asking if we should give him some, she starts shaking the bag at him and gleefully smiling.
We can’t financially support kids because they vote for absolute idiots!
Why are you responding with WhiteRussianDude’s account if you’re a woman?
This wasn’t aimed at your situation. If you love each other, you work it out. I’m responding to bh.
Please br, there are solutions besides sleeping in different beds/bedrooms. You gonna fight me on this?
I like you as a poster. Please move this to the H&G board.

Married over 20 yrs. Always sleep together. She lays on her stomach and I lay on my back and she cant fall asleep unless my hand is on her bare arse. Still having sex at least 4 times per week. Some of the shite I read in this thread is sad and unimaginable

It’s not unimaginable. These people won’t be together in ten years. If they exist, their life is unimaginable and sad.
I don’t think that’s what he’s saying, Bug. He’s acknowledging that it’s becoming commonplace for this and it feeds into itself.
