Going with this one today, good Sunday watch.

None. I had a Rolex but they took it when they took my rings. I can't believe it happened in my own town.

A pick up off Facebook today for $30. There were 10 watches, all junk except this Mido Multifort automatic.

The lady states that all the watches needed new batteries. Gave it a quick shake, been running since

Worth about $250-$300 from what I can tell

Nice find! Do you plan on selling or keeping it a while?

ETA: I just realized who I replied to...of course, you're going to sell it.

Both, it’s on eBay already for $300, if it doesn’t sell, I’ll keep it. I’m buying a Seamaster 300M next week, so if it sells, it’s going toward it.

Just like I did when I built my massive LSU collection years ago, I’m building my watch collection the same way, with OPM (other people’s money).

I sold my two 14kt gold watches last week for $1500, to put towards my Omega. I paid $600 for the pair.

Apple Watch Ultra

I am holding off getting an Apple Watch until they invent a watch that can measure your glucose levels without a separate needle sensor stuck in your arm like a Freestyle Libre or Dexicom.

I keep telling myself, as soon as I order one to monitor other things, the glucose tech will drop and I would have missed out.

Today is the 226570 Polar.

I found a 1999 model year polar explorer with boxes and paperwork that I gave my son for his high school graduation. It was his birth year watch. Good looking watches.

Obviously not luxury, but I’ve really been enjoying the Seiko Presage Mojito my wife got me for my birthday/father’s day. Eventually replacing the strap with a few different options. A dark brown leather, two tone jubilee, and Milanese.
