My dad gave me his old Seiko moon phase and I got it fixed up. Shattered crystal, new crown, new strap, got it running again, etc.

I know it's upside down, I know it's terrible picture, I just wanted to get it done tonight.

First time posting an image on a watch thread.

I also have the black dial BB Pro and love it, though it's remained in the box since the Pelagos Ultra joined the family. Jury is still out if it remains in the collection long term, though it has been around for 3 years.

Today is the 226570 Polar.

Do it. It will still look good 30 years from now. I bought this almost exact same watch back in the eighties and I still wear it today. It still looks right, IMHO.

ETA: Obviously mine has a polycarbonate crystal.

My wife (no pics) is traveling. New rolex store opened up so she went in and they offered her these. Any of these two tones worth it?

I though gold/steel two-tones had fallen out of favor but any of them except maybe the plain bezel DJ.

I have too many rolexes so may not pull the trigger, but if any OT ballers want one, we can work something out

She's out of the country, so no sales tax.
