Slidell High. My freshman year was Torris Bright's senior year. We played Salmen and Chris Duhon twice that year, and every college coach worth a damn was at those games. Torris also scored like 80 points in a 100 point victory against Northshore.

1) Goats on the roof freshman year
2) JH passing away leaving a party.
3) Dance to the dome the 95 season, last one to ever beat WM.
4) Lots of scandalous sex in those days

Beau Chene High. Easily the filming of the Apostle. The opening scenes of the Apostle were shot in the fields off the highway of our high school. The parking lot was used as a staging area for the equipment and makeup trailers. If I remember right, Robert Duvall and Farrah Fawcett went and had lunch one day with the school drama club.
The other incident was probably the time a white guy wore an "Original Boys in the Hood" klan shirt to school. We had random metal detection and police presence for a couple of weeks after that.

Tara High 1975. A narc named Carmen smoked weed wiih a bunch of kids on football field during school year then got them all busted. Many had very influential parents which caused a big scandal.

Had Miss Teen Louisiana winners for 2 straight years. Bambi St Angelo in 1986 & Bobbie Brown (of Cherry Pie fame) in 1987. Big deal considering we had about 10-15 kids in each grade.

East Jefferson. Had fights every day between blacks and whites and the girls went to a different school. My english teacher (guy) was fired for dating a female high school student. School was from 7:30-12:00. No air conditioning.

If you are him, I went to St Charles and we played Curtis for 3 years when you were there. Buddy of mine spit on you and all hell broke loose at East Jefferson stadium one Saturday afternoon.
