1. Left handed catcher

2. that will be the world's worst little league baseball dad

3. that's ridiculously unfair to the pitcher; the strike zone is the size of a gallon of milk

4. kid's got a good cut

Dad sounds like redneck who lives through his son's "career"
14 year old team sucks

This kid has no shot

ETA: Just watched the whole video...all that for a weak groundout?? 4 million views??

Pitcher balked at least twice.

If we’re not gonna play by the rules why are we even out there?

I don't know why in the world the coach even lets him swing. He's could be that team's Eddie Gaedel.

Why did I just watch that? My son is 7 and just plays recreational baseball for something to do in the summer. He could do what that kid just did and he isn't even that good and really doesn't care about baseball.

Pitcher balked, didn’t come set a few times.

What is wrong with the catchers arm motion? Could be sore from 365 days of travel ball.

First off that’s not a travel ball team

Second of all that’s the worst 14 year old pitcher and catcher I’ve ever seen

left handed catcher. That’s just terrible

I get this board's need to bash travel ball but I've got two things for you on this one bud.
1. The "8 yr old" batting looked to be the only kid on that field with a future.
2. That was not a "travel ball" game, it was more a kin to what the YMCA puts out or that league in BR named after a dude that's been around for years I can't even remember but it was shite.

Baseball
--High school senior players who go on to play NCAA men`s baseball: Less than three in 50, or 5.6 percent

-- NCAA senior players drafted by a Major League Baseball (MLB) team: Less than eleven in 100, or 10.5 percent.

-- High school senior players eventually drafted by an MLB team: About one in 200, or 0.5 percent. Drafted baseball players almost always go to a minor league team. These teams abound; there are over 150 of them, compared to 30 in the majors. The big leagues have 750 players, yet the 2004 draft alone took 1,500. Hence some estimate that only one in 33 minor leaguers ever makes it to the pros. If that's correct, the chance of a high school player making the big leagues is one in 6,600, or 0.015 percent. That's roughly the chance of a thief guessing your PIN number on the first try.
