chess thread got me thinking.

- learn how to master a new game?
- learn a new language?
- learn basic electrical or plumbing?
- learn new IT skill/certificate?
- home improvement skill like tile or bricklaying?
- go back to school for an advanced degree?

what would you like to do if you had the time?

I'd like to remaster flyfishing and fly tying. I dabbled in it 20 years ago but time wasn't there to go all in. To get really good at it, you have to devote time into it, which was never there in enough quantities.

I want to learn how to do the most perfect cartwheel, like a really good one. But I don't want to make a big deal out of it.

I picked up Spanish again during covid. I'm now at the point where I need immersion to continue to progress.

ETA: Growing up, my dad had gardens, but I never had much interest. I want to start one now.

Play a guitar. Nothing crazy. Not looking to be the next Eddie Van Halen. Just good enough to pick out some old blues tunes on a six string. Would love to be able to just sit out by campfire next to my travel trailer at night and play a little blues.

I would like to be fluent in multiple languages.
I would like to get really good/fast at editing videos and using audio recording software (DAWs like Studio One or Pro Tools).

I wouldn't mind being able to play guitar, looks like there's quite a few folks on here that would like to do the same.
