I don't understand how some people can let tens, hundreds, or even thousands of notifications build up on their emails or texts (or on any other apps), but I see it all the time.

Either clear the notifications, or read/delete the emails! ¯\_(?)_/¯

On my personal phone I'm on the right, because I don't feel like deleting the 99/100 worthless emails I get. Once I tried going back and deleting them but there were way too many. Maybe you can offer some helpful advice here?

Select all ---> mark as read.

Or use the Outlook app for emails, which only notifies you when you get a non-promotional email.

(I do both, lol)

Me too. I got so excited when they added the app folders to the iPhone.

I'm the kind of person who lets notifications stack up just to annoy people like you.

Easy way for me to keep records and they are right where I need them. I'm the guy on the right.

True story: my future mother-in-law made a canvas print for my fianceé and I for Christmas. She didn't know how to save an image and attach in an email, so she took a screenshot and uploaded it. This is how it came out

Notice the 15.5k emails

I check my email every time one comes in, so I have 0 notifications pending.
