0.79 Mbps down, 0.27 Mbps up.

I love living in a remote location but it comes at a cost.

Just now getting this post.

I'm supposed to get around 70 down and 20 up

Get between 5-15 down and 2 up

Called the people many times for them to "fix" it. They claim to fix it but it's exactly the same that it's been.

Go get a Docis 3.0 modem with 32 downstream channels. It's plenty of capabilities for now and has plenty of room to handle more speeds as they improve.

Same here, it's the only option I have other than satellite and I'm not that desperate. It's inconvenient but not a huge deal, really.

Just did it on the phone while in the bedroom. 298 down 25 up. It was 72 down 8 up on the pc in the office.

I guess distance and walls is pretty significant.

I have Cox Gigablast. It's fast, real fast. In fact too fast for some of our computers. They aren't capable of running that fast and we haven't upgraded everything yet. The laptop I'm on at the moment, for example, I'm getting about 50Mbs download speeds, but the laptop in the house is pretty new and can run at a full Gig.

My PC, which is directly wired in, gets 900d/900u. My wireless devices get about half that.

Just wanted to thank you for this thread. Thanks to you, I bought a used 2011 modem/router for $15 to replace my CableOne rental, and now my speed has more than tripled from 4.9 down to 18.5.
