There's a pretty large percentage of the population that believes every business owner is rich and underpays their staff to build their own wealth.

Almost every position.
The older guys have been retiring like crazy since since 2016. They kicked it in high gear during the pandemic. And now all the younger people are overworked and looking for a better balance.
So turnover definitely got worse. Salaries are going way up, and we are going to be passing that on to our customers just like everyone else.

White, college educated, police officers willing to serve poverty stricken communities of color that exploit encounters with them during efforts to provide safety within said communities.

Cannot fill entry level (process apprentice) positions in the paper making industry. Pay is $20.60. Nobody wants to use a shovel, rake, water hose anymore.

Mainly ship personnel. Pays good, but few can pass the piss test. Most of our new hires are coming from out of state.
My old Job with Labor probably has 50 openings, pays around 60k to start if you're entry level. I was an investigator there, left after 16 months and I don't think a soul still works there when I did.
Hard to find people who can do tasks which require drug tests or actual problem solving.

Planning to make my exit from LE soon, but all the jobs clogging the search apps seem to be MLM scams in "Sales".
Anyone near the Laf. area that wants to hire a dependable former LEO, with zero disciplinary history, post your email...

Every pharmacy is shorthanded, Every day is a repetitive hammer of misery. It’s really demoralizing.
