What Degree did you have, what did you start doing after undergrad, and anything about this subject.

From a senior who’s getting ready to go into the big leagues soon...

Graduated with a Business Management degree. Got a job as an IT network manager at a school system. Degree really didn't have much to do with my initial job. It's more about helping down the road with managerial positions. Most people in my profession don't have college degrees unless they go into management.

Worked for a law firm because I thought I was gonna go to law school...thank god i worked for the firm first. Bunch of miserable fricks.

6 years later and I’m an SIU Investigator for a top insurance company. Glad I went down this path.

Bachelor's degree in human services, minor in psychology. First job was program manager at a residential group home. 9.11/hour. This was in 2005, not 1985. So...yeah-don't think that this sounds low because it was a long time ago...it sounds low because it was low. Took a small pay cut to go from "kid working through college" to "guy beginning his professional career path."

ISDS - the company that I was working for part time while in school hired me full time after I graduated. They didn't pay that well so I only stayed a year.
