I think it should be commodities only.

Bags of beans, potatoes, canned meats, etc.

Outside of spices, flour and condiments, if it's not on the outside aisles it should be a small percentage of your groceries, and enforced as a punishable offense.

The fact that people can have their entire existence supported by the government and then have an equal vote to those who are funding that existence is the most extreme conflict of interest that one could find. It's insanity, by definition, and it's a disgusting travesty.

All non-essentials.

Meaning only meat, vegetables, milk, bread, fresh juices.

No items like Doritos or snack cakes.

Of course it is, which is why water is a public utility. An extreme few Americans don’t have access to clean drinking water.

Bottles are an incredibly inefficient and expensive way to distribute water.

The government is already paying for public water access.

don’t think ANY liquids beyond baby formula should be allowed. Drink water from the tap.

People drinking bottled water is a relatively new phenomenon anyway.

I was an adult before I ever purchased a bottle of water.

Incredible you immediately got down votes, on TD, for this. It's completely rational Love the Bots here.

As far as the water goes, I saw a video a while ago of a crackhead that bought a pallet of bottled water and then emptied them in a parking lot so she could sell the plastic for drug cash

You don’t think a discussion of the government paying for an item that is distributed in the most expensive and inefficient way possible, while also providing it in the cheapest and most efficient way possible, is valid?

Good to know I can ignore your opinions in the future.

Should be only necessities and the cheapest of them. Our tax dollars pay for this and we have no say in it. Should also have drug testing done once you are on food stamps as well. Should also be made to look for work.

This isn’t an essential for me.

Nor would it ever change. The Walmarts and targets of the world love this stuff.
