my brother-in-law wears socks with sandals. I cringe when I see that since many times it's black socks damn near up to his knees.

On clouds are literally shoes for dudes in their 20s. Any dad that is wearing them is either a young person in the target demographic or a dad trying to be young and hip still…. Or a coach.

They are absolutely not dad shoes!

Brooks Glycerin daily. Feels like i’m walking on a cloud. You Gen Z kids enjoy having bunions by 40.

I am not a dad, but I am old and I have bad feet, so I wear Brooks.

If I’m dressing casual for work.

Personal time casual shoe.

If I’m going to be doing a lot of walking.

< dad checking in, I’ve gone though at least four or five pairs of those New Balance over the past 20+ years of coaching little league baseball, football, soccer, and softball, plus three years of Scout leader and three years of in-game team photographer for my son’s HS football team. Great shoe. I’d wear out one pair and simply go get the same thing again. Did that for years and years.

Having said that, my wife bought me a set of On Clouds almost year ago.

Really like them, can walk all day in them never get tired.

Bunch of women in here, my wife doesn't have that many shoes.

New balance fresh foam 680 black if I'm wearing tennis shoes
If it's cold enough for pants I'm wearing Ariat boots.

I wear OC cloudsurfers for reffing volleyball and umping softball on turf fields. Much more comfortable and durable than the brooks. Was getting less than a season out of brooks.

White New Balance

Next question?

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ This.

My youngest daughter affectionately named them (regardless of what model they actually are) "Grillmaster Model 300's".
They are in rotation...New going out in public shoes, Work shoes, Yard shoes, Shoes I have tied loose to walk into them quickly if I need to run outside while half-asleep in the middle of the night.
After going through 1-4 in the rotation they are retired to the big green shoe disposal can with reverence for Monday morning pickup and the last ride to the New Balance home for the retired...

So be it, it has been deemed so.

Sorry I have a job that requires nicer footwear than tennis shoes. And I was actually joking about the New Balance. My yard works shoes are actually my last pair of worn out hey dudes.
