The funeral of JFK, but I only remember John John's salute.
Moon landing.
OJ's white bronco chase.
The second tower coming down.

their house while screaming for help on WWL Radio during Katrina as their house went underwater. They were on their cell phone--not TV but still very memorable to me.
Damn, never heard about that one, on the radio like that.

Since I'm a big racing fan I've seen some wrecks resulting in drivers death. Was watching Dale Earnhardt, Dan Wheldon and even this past week with Justin Wilson I was watching live.

Tsunami, I remember being up when it happened and following the thread the whole night. Woke up the next day and it was all over the news.

That live tweet of those murders will stick with me for a while as I was following the thread here as it was happening.
Wait what?
Also I think the Boston Marathan bombing pursuit of suspects it up there with a lot of the events already posted.

Almost 20 years ago I saw a bank robbery gone wrong in LA, CA, where the robbers had automatic weapons and body armor and were shooting it out with the cops in the street. It was like something out of the movie Heat.
I remember that shite. Dudes were just taking shot after shot and it took forever for them to go down. They went for broke.

The WTC is the runaway number one but I can vaguely remember Nixon's resignation, though I wasn't old enough to understand the significance. Reagan's "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall" speech was pretty cool. Les Mile's "damn strong" press conference seems silly on this list but it is a personal favorite.

When I was a kid, I was sick at home from school one day, watching TV and eating a bowl of NoodleOs when this happened.

I followed that thread the other day and the murderer's Twitter feed was uploaded in the thread as it happened before they had even identified the shooter. I had posted on page one of the OP and saw the initial news footage, then about 2 hours later saw the murderer's Twitter upload POV of the murders. There are several posters on here that watched it unfold that morning like that and it was fricked up how it went down.
