I don't know what Zillow says but I custom built a house a few years back on Highland near Bluebonnet. After about 5 years in I decided I wanted to sell, I asked $18M for it... Lost a boat load on it. Sold it to some dentist for only $6M.

I'm paying mortgages on two houses.
One is estimated a little less than I paid for it at the end of 2007. As I was signing the paperwork on this one, the national real estate market was putting up a big mushroom cloud. It's just now coming back up to what I paid.

Says mine is worth over $700k but I doubt it. If someone offered me that for it, I would sell in a minute.
Zillow is not the most accurate but it is at least "some info" that a person can obtain that realtors pretend is top secret information.

$454,000, down $23k from 2008 according to the graph but up about $120k since mid 2013 so trending in the right direction I guess :) I know there were a lot of foreclosures in the neighborhood between 2008 and 2011 so that probably hurt.
Not sure why the tax assessments/bills didn't follow that same trend, definitely not similar! Tax bill is higher than ever.
